I heart MoMo!

First it was "Wonderland" then "Odyssea" and now "Freebird"; fabric lines designed by MoMo. I love them all! I see there is also "It's a Hoot" but I don't know if I missed that line or if it's a new one?

MoMo is a designer for Moda fabrics and she makes fabrics that, as I've said before, just make me smile. I used Wonderland fabric to make the girls' Easter dresses in 2009. I recently used Freebird fabric to make a summer top for J. and an A-line skirt for myself.

Gather 'round

I used a pattern from "Sew What! Skirts" to make this skirt and added the ruffle to make it a little more fun - and to add just a little more MoMo!

Kids' Clothes

I've been able to spend some time sewing and look what I've made. . .
Graduation Pants
Short pants for J. She wore them for her Kindergarten Continuation.

Sleeveless Top
A sleeveless top for J.
(She's the one who LOVES wearing the clothes I make for her, so I tend to make more clothes for her.)

I used patterns from "Making Kid's Clothes" to make the pants and top. It's a nice book with very cute projects that are fairly easy to make. The fabric is from this recent purchase at Fancy Tiger. I bought the book there too!
