A pillow:
I made the pillow using the string piecing technique and had fun playing with freestyle quilting. The square with the Fancy Nancy appliqué is quilted with "bubbles", which I think look more like pebbles. The other three squares are quilted with loopty-loops.
A birthday tee:
The cupcake on the front is appliquéd. The cupcake on the back was embroidered on a linen/cotton blend fabric and then stitched onto the t-shirt.
