(This is the "glowing orb" we put outside on Halloween Night. Idea found here.)
This was another fun year of costumes. This year was a little different, though. The girls ended up with two different costumes; one for school and one for trick-or-treating.
The school costumes were based on saints:
St. Elizabeth (holding baby St. John) and St. Mary Magdalene.
The trick-or-treating costumes were based on the current interests of each of the kids:
Hermione, Princess Leia, Obi-Wan (or Obi-Juan, as we called him, since his name is John).
These costumes came together fairly quickly and with very little sewing. I plan on writing about that in another post.
Oooh, Claudia, these are great! I was wondering if the girls would trick-or-treat as St. Elizabeth & St. Mary Magdalene or not. I love their cute costumes, all FIVE that you put together! Wow! Also, I am noticing that the more kids you have and the more input they give, the more work the costumes are. I know that should seem obvious, but it doesn't always. ;)
ReplyDeleteThese are adorable :) I'm amazed that you managed to pull off 5 costumes. You = my hero; I couldn't even do one this year.
